Harry Gant Polhemus, 86, of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on February 29, 2016.
Harry is predeceased by his first wife, Maryann Polhemus (1991).
He is survived by his beloved wife Frances Diane Polhemus; his daughters Judy Moscaritolo and husband Mike of Cliffwood Beach, NJ; Sue Polhemus of Belmar, NJ and his son Richard of Belmar, NJ. He is also survived by his step-daughter Sheri Berry and husband John of Freehold, NJ.
His grandchildren Frank and Steven Moscaritolo and his step-grandchildren Matthew Berry, Specialist Michael Berry and wife Karisa, Melanie D. Miller and Dennis Robinson.
Mr. Polhemus was a member of the Amateur Radio Club and was an avid Hamm Radio operator (KN2B).
He was also a member of the Manasquan Fishing Club.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 8th at 11:00 am at St Mary’s RC Church, West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Cremation was private.
