Obituary of Robert Arnouil

Robert J. Arnouil, born in Elkhorn, Wisconsin on May 28, 1949, to Robert and Evelyn Arnouil, died at home surrounded by loved ones, on June 17th, 2019.

He was pre-deceased by his parents, his brother Daniel, and his sister Barbara.  He leaves behind his wife Carolann, three daughters: Jennifer, Ashley, and Amber, his brother Ronnie, his brother Kurt, his nieces and nephews, and two grandchildren: Ava and Abbie.

We are planning a “Celebration of Life” for him at Papous Place on Saturday, August 10th, 2019 located at 129 North County Line Road (and Bartley Road) in Jackson. Please stop in any time between 2:00 and 5:00.

Bob was known for his quick wit: he always had a joke. That joke was usually at your expense, but that is how you knew he liked you. He always said “If I didn’t like you, I wouldn’t make fun of you”. Despite that, he had a good heart underneath all his “Bob” shirts. He had an answer for everything, and even if it was wrong he convinced you he was right. His love for NASCAR showed in his driving skills, either that or in his past life he was a taxi driver in NYC. Golfing was one of his favorite hobbies whether he was playing or watching it on TV. He enjoyed darts, playing pool with friends, and loved the Chicago Bears (although he could never watch a game because he convinced himself it was “bad luck”). Cooking was one of his favorite things to do and he was always excited to try something new. He was always in the kitchen, to the point where even at holidays he hardly made it to the table. Bob was one of a kind and if you had the pleasure of knowing him- you are lucky.
