I have so many memories of my dear friend. She inspired me to be a better person and was a guardian angel to me and my children. She came to my house one day when I was feeling particularly sorry for myself. She literally took me by the shirt sleeve into her car, drove me to the nursing home and left me with some little lady for two hours while she dssappeared. I brushed the little lady’s hair, braided it, hugged her and listened to her stories, distorted as they were and then she told me she liked my teeth and that she used to have teeth but somebody took them. She was sweet. Carol appeared at the doorway and said to me “are you ready to go home now and do you see now that you have a good life?”. I cried and said yes. That little lady sat at Carol’s house for many a holiday because that’s who Carol was and how she treated people. I miss my friend and will always thank God for her friendships. I love you my friend!
