Tom & Eleanor Meyers
Appears my previous message is now missing?
Eleanor and I were saddened to hear my Uncle Artie had passed on. I remember how physically strong my Uncle was, his days on the Ridgefield Park police department, and his dedication to his daughters and my Aunt Bobbie. Early on, we lost contact with the family, but I never lost the memories I have growing up or my respect for him and the love I have for the family. Our prayers are with the entire family during these difficult times and may they celebrate the time they had with him. I have a clear memory of my Uncle from my Aunt’s birthday which was a terrific reunion we had with the entire family.
Love to all,
K

Mostly I remember Uncle Artie as the patriarch of what became a HUGE family. How blessed and lucky he was to raise 4 beautiful women and then get to enjoy 20 offspring! What light they must have brought to his life! And a 64 yr marriage to my Aunt Bobbie proves there was love, commitment and strength in their homes. I remember him in his chair on Lantern Place with a lap ready for 20 kids or a dog to take advantage of. I will remember dancing with him at the anniversary celebration that turned into a family reunion. I can still see him in his police uniform in the house in Ridgefield Park whenever I was old enough to babysit and eating at the picnic table in that big backyard. He had a full, loving life and he will live in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, Uncle Artie. I am sad you had to go. Love, Chrissy

Dad,
Pulling up to your house to see you and mom and you not being there is going to be very hard. I have great memories that I will cherish always. Rest In Peace, you’ll be forever missed.

Eleanor and I send our sincerest sympathy and condolences to my Aunt Bobbie and my cousins during this difficult time with the passing of my Uncle Artie. I will always remember my Uncle as a very physically strong person, who loved his job as a Ridgefield Park police officer, who worked hard even after his retirement in support of my Aunt and my cousins. Unfortunately, I loss touch with everyone over the years, but never loss the memories and the love I have for them all. Our prayers are with them during this difficult time, may they celebrate the life they had with Uncle Artie. Love, Tom & Eleanor Meyers
