Obituary of Ellwood R. Davis

Ellwood R. Davis of West Creek, NJ, formerly of Tabernacle, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. He was 76. He is the beloved husband of Arlene Marcoe-Davis; cherished father of Kristin (Jon) Sommers, Nancy (Nate) Swindle, and Daniel (Katie) Davis; and brother to Edward Davis and Marie Carey. He is also survived by seven grandchildren- Anthony, Kayleigh, Colton, Georgia, Cassidy, Chase, and Dakota. He was preceded in death by a grandchild, Bella. Ellwood (Bub/Woods) was a retired building contractor and home inspector. Throughout his life, he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He moved to his happy place, the shore house, in 2016 and spent the rest of his life fishing, boat riding, and working on projects. His greatest joy came when his family was around him, especially his adored grandchildren. A private memorial will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers or memorial contributions, the family requests that you plant a flower or a tree in Ellwood’s memory.
