One morning on my way to the bus stop to go to Brick high Joan and a couple of other girls from Brick high stopped and said " get in ". I was so happy. Lake Rivieria Brick chicks. It wasnt until many years later we rekindled our friendship on FB with our mutual love of Pearl Jam and Grateful Dead. One of the sweetest and coolest friend I ever had and I cried all that nite when I heard of her passing. I knew she was sick but didnt realize how serious it was. I know she is in heaven and will always think of her when I hear "Just Breathe. See you on the othet side my dear friend.

Q: What will you never forget about Joan?
A: My great friend Joanie. So many things I can say about her and all the adventures we had. We both loved to go down on the jetty at night and look at the ocean. One time we went to see a storm at night and walked out on the beach toward our favorite spot. Suddenly over the top of the jetty rocks we say a HUGE wall of water. We ran as fast as we could back to the boardwalk and just missed being washed away. Giant logs got washed up right behind us!
Another night we both thought a UFO was up in the night sky. We were sitting at the end of the jetty when an ear splitting noise filled both of our heads and a beam of light came down from out of nowhere. Scared the heck out of us! Yikes!
Our parents were friends and would visit each others house. That was nice. Once Joan and I got wasted( tripping) and decided to make homemade tortillas. My Mom came home and found us cracking up in the kitchen with flour everywhere. Joan was a fun person to hang out with. We had so so many more adventures. I will miss her forever, as will everyone else. Love to all.
