Obituary of Lorraine L. Donnelly

LORRAINE LORRETTA DONNELLY (RICCO) Lorraine Lorretta Donnelly, Age 92 of Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ passed away peacefully on May 5, 2024 with her family by her side. Lorraine was born on November 21,1931 in Camden, NJ to Stella and William Ricco. After graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School, she worked for Radio Condenser Corp, The Maryann Shoppes, as a School Crossing Guard as well as Flagg’s Garden Center. Lorraine’s beloved husband, Charles Donnelly predeceased her. Lorraine leaves behind sons Raymond Baud, Lawrence Baud, and daughter Lorraine Weiss. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren. Her life was filled with the love of family, friends and her many activities including cooking, fishing, crabbing, boating, dancing, and playing pinochle. In her later years she loved going to Atlantic City and visiting the casinos. Up until the end, Lorraine maintained her kindness, compassion, sense of humor and most of all her love for her friends and family and gratitude for her long life. She welcomed everyone into her home, and no one ever left hungry or thirsty. Services to honor and celebrate the life of Lorraine Donnelly will be held on May 15 at 11am at The Good Sheppard Lutheran Church, 500 Mathistown Road in Little Egg Harbor, NJ In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, or her special place, The Good Sheppard Lutheran Church of Little Egg Harbor, NJ.
