Obituary of Arthur S. Maines Jr.

It is with great sorrow that I must announce the passing of Arthur S Maines Jr. He passed on 10/25/24 at Jersey Shore Medical Center while surrounded by his loved ones. He was survived by his wife, Sally Maines: son, Stephen A. Maines; Mother, Mary Jane Maines; sister, Johanna Boekell; niece, Theresa Foster, and her husband Michael and their son, Jace; his brothers- and sisters-in-law as well as many cousins. He was pre-deceased by his Father, Arthur S Maines, Sr. Arthur was employed by the Ocean County Utilities Authority as an Industrial Electrician in their South Plant for 25 years. Arthur enjoyed being with his family, camping, woodworking and photography. He loved all animals especially his four cats and a dog. A memorial service is being held on Sunday, 11/3 from 11 am to 1pm at Polhemus Cremation Services at 203 Main St., West Creek, NJ. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or the Friends of the Southern Ocean Animal Shelter would be greatly appreciated.
