Obituary of Tara Ann McGee

Tara Ann McGee, age 39, was the beloved daughter of Jeffrey McGee and Renee (Mullen) McGee. She passed away peacefully on January 3rd, 2021 at Southern Ocean Medical Center with her family at her side. Tara was born September 17th, 1981 and raised in Toms River, New Jersey. In 1997, Tara and her family relocated to Manahawkin, New Jersey where she lived her remaining years. Tara resided at home with her parents while attending Ocean County Day Training Center, DHS Regional School Ocean Campus in Toms River, NJ and Secrest Village Adult Day Program in Tuckerton, NJ. Tara joins her grandparents, Robert Mullen, Marguerite Mullen and Suzanne McGee in heaven. She is survived by her parents, Jeffrey McGee, Renee McGee, her brother Robert McGee and her grandfather, Jerome McGee. She is also survived by her sister, Michele Patel, brother-in-law, Yash Patel and nephew Rohan Patel as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins who were fortunate to be a part of her life. Tara was known for her peaceful presence, gentle nature and love for dogs. Tara touched the hearts of everyone she met and was known as a true angel on Earth. She will be dearly missed by family and friends and will be remembered for her strength and sweet demeanor. A funeral mass will take place at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 16th, 2021 at St. Mary’s of the Pines located at 100 Bishop Way, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. All are welcome to join.
